Today we are opening up places in our second term of classes at The Assembly Rooms! Get in quickly to make sure you have a place as there are only ten spaces offered in each class.
We will also be running various short workshops during the term which we will be launching in the upcoming weeks.
In the mean time there are a few changes to note.
This term we will be offering a continuation of the preschool art classes however they will be on Wednesday and Friday not Tuesday and Friday and will be taken by the delightful Giselle Laming.
The Saturday morning Art Class will now be taught by Alysia Rees and open to all primary school aged children!
Thank you to Lisa Frankland for doing such a wonderful job with the Saturday class this term.
Instead of Animation for 9-13 year olds this term Caitlin Murray will be running an Illustration an Introduction class which will take the students through the process of creating a professional design brief from research stage to final product. This will be a wonderful chance for your child to enhance their skills if they are already keen on illustration, drawing and design.
Isobel Knowles will not be running her Animation class this term but will be popping back to run a workshop later in the term. Thank you and Kate Matthews for you terrific class we can't wait for the screening.
Shannon Smiley will continue to teach an Introduction to Oil Painting class on Tuesday nights for adults. It will cover all you need to know to get you started in the medium. If you have already taken the class this term and wish to continue you are very welcome. Some theory will be covered again but it would be a great chance to work on your technique.
This term we are offering an introduction to Wood Carving Class with Michael Conole. It will be a terrific chance to create some utilitarian objects and learn in depth theoretical and technical background to this timeless technique. Wooden spoons for everyone this Christmas!
Please contact us if you have any questions. We can't wait to see the final works produced by all our students this term at the end of term exhibition and to see what is created next term!
